Our deepest condolences to Don's family on his untimely death and their loss. Don was always smiling and kept those around him laughing. He will be remembered for his friendly manner and sense of humor. So sorry to hear of his death.

I knew Donald from Earth Science class over in the annex building. That was sophomore year.  He was an easy-going guy, he got along with everyone that I could see. We often discussed automotive/motorcycles and the sort.  Remembering that year, he was in automotive repair class.  I asked him for a favor. I had my first motorcycle then and needed a repair done.  The hydraulic front forks had bolt holes that were wore/striped out. Donald took them to his automotive class and welded two threaded nuts in place where the other threads had failed. I paid him five bucks apiece That saved me over a hundred dollars or more. I was again,  back on the road.

I never knew he had passed until I read it here. I’m sorry for his loss.  My belated condolences to all his family.
