Mr. Ralph Houghton leaves a legacy "larger than life" in the hearts of his family, friends, students and many fans in Kenosha and world wide. Mr. Houghton's love of Life and music is legendary and he passed this love on to all who had the privilege of knowing and working with him. Those that enjoyed his tutulage and contagous enthusiasm for all things Musical have wonderful memories of the many Band-o-Rama's, Ice Cream Socials, Tournaments and pagentry that represented Kenosha Music and it's excellence.
May Mr. Houghton's family and friends carry on his wonderful legacy of excellence to the following generations, so that his Standard of Excellence may live forever!
Heaven gained a Music Maker, and those that miss him know that he will live forever in their hearts!
